DisplayLink solutions do NOT add delays via the compression. In fact the DisplayLink technology is much faster and more responsive that all the MCT graphics chip based solutions because the rendering is done by the much more powerful GPU inside of the PC rather than a older MCT GPU. Also all DisplayLink products support 1920x1200 32 bit color and none of the MCT solutions support this mode.
